Recieved a package in a grey, plastic mailer with 2 different metal forks, a metal butter knife and a random piece of metal. No paperwork and no information. Tracking number from USPS indicates a label made on November 20th **** in Los Angeles. I did not order anything like this. I am trying to figure out if this is a bait and switch on a real order or some other scam. Package says my name and address.

My wife received a black furry onesie looks like an Ewok costume. Was sent to her at our address. She thought it was a strange Valentine’s Day present. No clue who sent it.

What's the scam? I got the Gucci sunglasses too, but I'm hard pressed to see how this is meant to scam me. Can you elaborate on how this scam works?
I think the scam is that you recieve an unexpected package and then you scan the QR code on the shipping label and this gives the bad guys access to everything on your cell phone.

This is the return address for items purchased on AliExpress Website (like a Chinese Amazon). Some sellers will send items to random people to increase their website ratings.

I have been getting used phone cases everyweek for most of the summer. I found the person whose name was one the packages. It was the right person with the phone number but it said it was connected to a real estate company but that person never worked there and it wasn't the she lived in.
I recieved 3 packages from them 1 with a backpack, 1 with earings and 3rd with earings waterbottle & ear buds all pink. I didn't order any of them it has no name and no street number only my street name and i am the only house on my street.
This is a distribution center`. Delivers parts sent from all over especially china and taiwan. I got a woman's purse LOL

I just received a very similar package today on January 4, 2025 around 11:45 am. It’s packaged very oddly and it’s from the address 2340 S. Eastern Ave. commerce CA 90040. When I looked up the address it read Joe jeans but I too am afraid to open it. I kinda joked with the delivery guy asking What is this? Could this be a bomb? It looks like a bomb…

The scam will be on your credit card. They sold you some bunk china item and delivered whatever to show it shipped. But they will charge your credit card now.
