Several power outages, accidents, and slippery conditions were reported on Thanksgiving Day in western Massachusetts. Hawley is located north in Franklin County with National Grid reporting close to 100 customers without power at around 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 28. The power outage was connected to a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Route 8 at around 10:40 a.m. near the 200 block of West Hawley Rd. that left a utility pole broken.Outage link: outagemap.ma.nationalgridus.com/
