A power outage is affecting nearly 6,000 customers in South Seattle, according to Seattle City Light.

Crews are investigating the incident affecting 5,526 customers in the Seward Park, Rainier Valley, Dunlap and Lakeridge neighborhoods.

The outage was initially reported Wednesday at 10 a.m. and power is expected to be restored by 2 p.m.l
