A nearly eight hour power outage in Ottawa is over. It started about 9:45pm last night because of equipment damage. Power was on again for most people by 5:30am. Ameren’s online outage monitoring map showed around 500 customers were affected, but Ameren’s Spokeswoman says it affected around 1,100.Outage link: outagemap.ameren.com/
