The Omaha Public Power District reported about 12,500 total outages as of 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, May 21 as severe weather moves across the Omaha metro area. More than 10,000 outages are reported in Douglas County. The Sarpy County area was also seeing more than 1,300 power outages. Saunders County reported 645 outages. According to OPPD, it has dispatched crews to make repairs. They do not have an estimated time for power restoration for most of the impacted areas.Outage link: ww3.oppd.com/power-outage-map/
