Entergy customers in New Orleans and Jefferson Parish were without power on Monday morning Nov 18 after an animal caused an electrical short and damaged equipment. The outage impacted more than 12,000 customers on the Westbank. Most of those outages are in Jefferson Parish, with the Entergy outage map showing more than 8,000 outages.
