Several weather-related power outages impacted tens of thousands of people across Sacramento County on Sunday as winds picked up across Northern California. The first one impacted about 10,490 customers in Rio Linda at the height of the outage. Meanwhile, thousands of people in downtown Sacramento were also without power. A power outage was reported around 4:30 p.m. for 5,093 customers, according to SMUD's outage map.
