As of 9:00 a.m., the PPL Outage Map reported approximately 52,000 customers without power. The bulk of outages are in Lackawanna and Wayne counties. UGI’s Outage Map reports about 100 outages, while First Energy’s Outage Map shows about 16,000 customers without power. Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative in the northern tier reported just over 9,000 customers being impacted by outages. Affected areas include Greenfield Twp, Archbald Boro, and Madison Twp.
