Power outages were reported across the Carolinas. As of 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, over 1,700 customers were without power, over 1,000 of those within the Asheville area. According to Duke Energy's outage map, power has been already restored for most of the customers. Additionally, as of 3:00 p.m., there are 863 customers affected in Mecklenburg County. Archdale Drive in Charlotte is the most affected area with two outages affecting 846 customers. The estimated time for restoration is 6:00 p.m.Outage link: outagemap.duke-energy.com/
