I've had a similar experience. I actually barely gotten over COVID when I got the first dose. The heaviness in the chest doesn't worry me as much but the headache and brain fog and fatigue have lasted for 2 weeks.

“I started feeling achy and having skin sensitivity mostly on my back and sides at around day 5. I also had some chills too. I was working a ton at that time so I just chalked it up to fatigue. Then on day 7 I noted a decent sized welt on my arm near where I got vaccinated. It was hot to the touch, r... aised and slightly itchy

“I just got mine today. My feet have been cold all night, but this time it’s weird my legs feel kind of weak (not sore or achy I don’t think as of now) and my feet and legs are kinda of tingling or kinda tight I really don’t know it’s a weird feeling.

“I have to say I have had every side effect mentioned plus a painful sore underarm which I think is my lymph nodes and a horrible aching pain in my middle back. I don't feel great but I am trying to stay hopeful all this will be short lived. All the staff in my work have been vaccinated none have ha... d covid and the only side effect they reported was the sore arm.

“Had a very sore arm after first shot, flu like symptoms and very tired yet can’t sleep well. Achy muscles and hot to touch ”
January 18, 2021 5:06 PM
“My first shot was last Wednesday (1/13). I only experienced some arm soreness that night and even more the next day. By Friday all was normal. I am awaiting dose two. I expect some side effects for 24 hours after dose 2, as my brother who is an IM doctor got feverish and achy with some nausea and w... e react similarly to vaccines. He was fine after about 36 hours. I will take a day of symptoms over my life any day. I hope this helps somebody. ”

“I just finished getting my second Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination 1 week ago, and the only side effect I had was a sore arm, from both of them. Many of my coworkers got fever, chills, headache, and vomiting. But not me. I had absolutely nothing. ”
January 18, 2021 8:13 PM
“Got my second shot 5 days ago. Only a sore arm with both shots. No fever or myalgia. Main side effect was relief. ”
January 19, 2021 3:54 AM
“I have a history of food and drug allergies, so I had some anxiety about this, but my experience was actually pretty great.
My arm soreness with the covid vaccine was less duration than it is with flu or tetanus.
Soon after the 1st covid vaccine dose, the pain in my bicep was pretty intense wi... thin a few hours, and also I had some throbbing in my armpit (axillary lymph nodes swelling a bit) and odd ache in my leg joints...it makes no sense...maybe the hip and leg joint pain wasn't related, could have been sitting oddly when nervous, or something, not sure.
I did have a dime or nickel sized red dot near the vaccine site, not sure when it appeared, I didn't see it until about 1-2 hours post-vaccination when i removed the bandaid, but the spot disappeared within hours. About the same time the spot resolved is when the armpit throbbing/swelling resolved, too.
Anyway, the arm pain and armpit swelling resolved mostly within 24 hours, completely gone by 48-60 hours, so that was great. Flu shot pain lasts almost a week for me, and tetanus shot pain lasts a week, so this seems less intense than those other vaccines. With flu and tdap, i'll wake up in the night if i roll over on that vaccinated arm, but that didn't happen with this vaccine. Covid vaccine was very painful in bicep for about 6 hours, then quickly minimized to become less painful than flu shot and tdap shot.
I did feel fatigued the next day, but overall, my symptoms were milder than after the flu vaccine, but I am expecting the 2nd dose to cause more of a reaction.
Overall, my experience was good, was as I expected it to be. I did expect to experience some symptoms, so I wasn't concerned. ”
