According to the West Virginia American Water website, 3,200 customers are under a boil water advisory in the Winfield to Pliny area on Sep 25. Winfield Elementary, Middle, and High Schools have all closed because of water issues. According to officials, West Virginia American Water has identified the cause of the water service outage for Winfield and surrounding areas.
