The Weirton Area Water Board has announced a planned water outage beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday for several streets in the northern area of the city. Affected streets include for the 300-500 blocks of North 12th Street, all of Nancy Street, Marsha Street, Donna Street Willow Street, Kingsview Drive, Lakeview Drive, Green Tree Lane, Teresa Drive, Rhing Court, Northview Court, Kiefer Way, all of Cove Valley Estates, and the 1300-2800 Blocks of Kings Creek Road. The outage will allow for crews to perform maintenance on the water system in those areas. Once work is completed, a boil order will be issued.
