Nestlé USA has announced a recall of 440,500 Starbucks-branded ceramic mugs due to safety concerns. The mugs, which have a metallic coating, pose a burn and laceration hazard if microwaved or filled with extremely hot liquid. The company has reported 12 incidents of the mugs overheating or... The recalled mugs were sold in two sizes, 11 oz. and 16 oz., as part of four different gift sets during the 2023 holiday season. They were distributed at Target, Walmart, and Nexcom (military retail outlets) across the U.S. from November 2023 to January 2024. The recall does not affect any other Nestlé USA or Starbucks-branded products.
