The Plaquemines Parish Government has issued a boil water advisory from Civic Drive in Port Sulphur to Forth Jackson, effective immediately and until further notice. This is due to a 20-inch water main break in Port Sulphur earlier Tuesday morning, causing a drop in water pressure. Water samples have been collected and submitted to the State Lab for testing. The boil water advisory will be lifted once results come back from the State Lab.
