Shortly before 2am a car crashed into a pole at 48th SW and SW Waite Street in North Admiral West Seattle. It caused power lines to come down and resulted in a power outage for more than 1600 people. Power had been out for 4600 immediately following the crash. The outage extends from Admiral Way on the south along Sunset Ave SW on the west to nearly Duwamish Head on the north crossing Palm Ave SW on the east.
