About 27,000 homes and businesses served by Jersey Central Power & Light are experiencing outages as of 11:15 a.m, the company’s outage tracker shows. Almost all of Manasquan, Sea Girt Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights have no power as of 11 a.m. About 40% of Wall and and 25% of Shrewsbury are also affected. The county’s most populous municipality — Middletown — also has more than 3,700 outages, which accounts for about 14% of customers.
