As of 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, Consumers Energy is reporting that 1,171 or 3.5% or of Bay County’s 33,617 customers are without power. Saginaw County, which had over 11,000 power outages reported after the storms rolled through at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday, is now down to 9,905 or 10.7% of customers without power.

Approximately 4,000 residents are without power near Saginaw Township as of 11:30 a.m., according to Consumers Energy. On the east side of Saginaw County, two clusters of outages were being reported along East Holland. Consumers Energy is reporting that 278 customers are without power in an area stretching from Sheridan Ave. eastward to South 20th Street and 575 customers are without power in an area primarily south of East Holland from near Webber towards Interstate 75.

As for Bay County, the company was reporting at 11:45 a.m. that 549 customers were without power in an area near Kawkawlin and Bangor Township that is centered over M-13 and S. Huron Road and is bordered by East Townline, Old Beaver Road and Old Kawkawlin Road, and East Wheeler Road.
