California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3205(c)(3)(B)(3). COVID-19 Prevention. Until January 1, 2021, the employer did not notify employees who may have had exposure to COVID-19. California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3205(c)(2)9B). COVID-19 Prevention. The employer did develop and implement a process for screening employees for and responding to employees with COVID-19 symptoms. Employees are not screened for the virus prior to starting their shifts, and passengers are not screened prior to boarding the buses. California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3205(c)(8)(C). COVID-19 Prevention. The employer did not disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects after reports of employees testing positive for COVID-19 at the workplace. And, as a general practice, the buses are never disinfected, including frequently-touched surfaces and objects on the bus. California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3205(c)(3)(B)(3). COVID-19 Prevention. The Employer did not exclude employees with COVID-19 exposure from the workplace for 14 days after the last known COVID-19 exposure to a COVID-19 case. California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3205(c)(10)(C). COVID-19 Prevention. For employees excluded from work due to COVID-19 exposure and the need to quarantine to limit transmission of COVID-19 in the workplace, the Employer did not continue and maintain employee earnings. Rather, the Employer requires employees to use their personal sick leave while quarantining due to exposure to COVID-19. Complainant notes: - One Driver died due to COVID-19, and there are currently 6 out of 20 drivers out on sick leave due to COVID-19. - Manager, PII, does not care about EEs' health and safety. Makes no effort to protect EEs from the virus. All local management do not care about EEs. Corporate management seem to care more about EE's health & safety. - Prior to January 1st, the ER did not notify EEs when their co-workers tested positive for COVID-19 - No COVID-19 screening for EEs at the start of their shift - NoCOVID-19 screening for passengers prior to entering the buses. - The buses are never disinfected at all, including commonly touched surfaces on the bus. - ER permits EEs to return to work after getting a COVID-19 test, but before the EEs receive their test results. ER expects EEs to use their personal sick time to quarantine if exposed to COVID-19.4 days ago •reported by user-hvrbn125
